Department of Commerce is one of the leading department of ICS College, offering fundamental knowledge with the professional intention for the academic development of commerce students. We, as a faculty of commerce offering multiple papers in commerce to make them bachelor of commerce as a core branch of Business Education. B.Com, a three year degree course has designed as per curriculum of University of Mumbai. Department of commerce syllabi, facilitates to develop conceptual ideas of Business & International market. These all papers have categorized in to three groups as compulsory papers, optional papers & applied component group. Compulsory papers are important to develop conceptual approach and also facilitates to be master in procedure & practices of commerce. Optional papers are choice based papers; which have offered as per market demand and career opportunities for the students. Third group is applied component papers; which are practical & research oriented papers. Commerce theory papers, like Business law & Marketing research are important papers of the department and contributing for the development of research spirit and professionalism in our students. Our most of the students have become successful businessmen and offering quality services and job opportunities to local youth. We are offering add on courses with the mutual cooperation of Bajaj Finserv ltd,. This course has designed to get familiar with organizational work culture and to develop their Job Skills. Department of commerce is organizing lecture series and personal interaction with industry people undervalue added scheme for the development of soft skills and practical knowledge.
